The magazine, she believes, is just an extension of what she already does daily in her line of work.

“As a professional makeup artist, I not only have to learn the latest beauty trends but-hopefully-make a few of my own,” she says. “I’ve already developed a line of lip gloss called Cyian and contribute to the beauty blogs of others. What I would like to do with the magazine is continue to provide readers with honest reviews, the best products, and make them aware of what looks are being seen on the runways. Along the way, I hope to raise the profile of new designers and business owners.”

And alcohol upstaged opioid abuse in news coverage recently, but only after Rear Adm. Ronny L. Jackson withdrew his name for consideration to head Veterans Affairs, in part because of allegations that he has abused alcohol. Jackson has denied any problem with alcohol.
