A new important crowdfunding campaign has been launched by a single mother who has been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. The campaign launched on the GoFundMe platform has been described as one of the most important and life changing campaigns of 2017.

Stephanie Jordan, a single mother who lives in the Midwest, was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis five years ago, and since then her life has changed with her illness having a major impact on her day to day life. The illness has not only caused major changes in Stephanie Jordan life, but it has also impacted her children’s lives. From being an active mother who enjoyed going to work, Stephanie now wakes up in the morning in pain and unable to go to work as well as not being able to play games with her children.

Sarcoidosis is a rare condition that causes small patches of red and swollen tissue, called granulomas, to develop in the organs of the body. It usually affects the lungs and skin. It is so rare that only around five people in every 100,000 are diagnosed. For those people that have the rare illness, their lives are turned upside down.

From once being active and enjoying going to work, Stephanie now is unable to work and has to take eighteen pills a day, on a bad day she takes 22. While everyone takes simple things like walking to the shops or riding a bike for granted, Stephanie, who has also just been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia is unable to do most things that people take for granted, leaving her with a limited lifestyle.

“I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis over five years ago. It initially started in my lungs, and has spread to my eyes, given me rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, diabetes, etc. basically my body is breaking down as the disease progresses,” explained Stephanie.

Stephanie Jordan, who hopes to raise $25,000 with the support of caring people struggles each day, and things are made worse in the fall and winter months. The amount being raised by the campaign may not sound like a lot to many people, but for Stephanie, it will change her life. The campaign will help the single mother move to the West to a warmer climate and give her and her children a more bearable lifestyle.

As well as looking for people to donate as little or as much as they can afford, Stephanie would also like people to help her promote the campaign by sharing her details on social media including Facebook. I was also running a parenting shop in Amsterdam where we would constantly get parents asking us for car seats that were easier to travel with.” 

The most important feature in designing the product was to make it convenient to handle without compromising safety. The product has been designed to comply with all safety regulations across Asia, Europe and North America.

The first Purseats will be available via Kickstarter on 8th May 2017, priced from EUR 212 to EUR 282. The product is adjustable for children from as young as 18 months to 7 years old for the travel bed position, and from approximately 3 to 12 years for the car seat functions, providing years of return on investment.

Through its crowd fund project the company will build its first customer base and fund the global launch of the product. The crowdfunding phase is planned to last for 60 days, with first products due to ship in Q3 of 2017. By Q1, 2018 the team plans to serve a global market through online retail and will also expand to physical retail locations throughout Europe, Asia, USA.

Silvia Li Sam is a 22-year old viral marketer who launched one of the largest publications on Medium, which since has grown to more than a quarter million followers. She has built 4 publications from scratch totaling almost half a million readers. Her secret? Provide value to your audience.

Though this advice is the first lesson that every marketer learns, few are able to execute on it. For Li Sam, it took hundreds of conversations with readers and writers to figure out what providing value really meant. 1. Narrative over facts

I thought to myself: “I wish I had a way to share my problems with other people when I was young.
