London/Monaco – Datacloud Europe, the premier networking and deal making event for EMEA data centre and cloud leaders will host the pioneering Infrastructure Masons at this year’s edition in Monaco June 6-8th 2017.
Founded by Dean Nelson, head of compute, Uber, Infrastructure Masons is an independent industry group of executive and technology professionals entrusted with building and operating the physical and logical structures of the Digital Age. The group’s mission is to advance the industry and develop the members’ fellow masons with a vision to empower the use of data centre infrastructure to improve “the economy, the environment, and society as a whole”.
The Infrastructure Masons will be represented by Christian Belady, general manager data centre services Microsoft, Joe Kava, VP of data centres Google and Dean Nelson; who will debate in a panel on: ‘What is wrong with the data centre industry? in the central theatre on the 7th June.

There are total of 1,163 Infrastructure Masons members globally with the top 100 responsible for over $100Bn of infrastructure projects. Today members operate in 139 countries.

Datacloud Europe 2017 promises to be the most extensive so far with 180 expert speakers addressing new agenda setting enterprise hot topics including blockchain, open source, data centre automation, software defined everything, data analytics – and emergence of “fast data”, Internet of Everything, artificial intelligence and VR, webscale impact, modular, use of edge computing within the IoE environment, and finance and investment.
The widely regarded and industry leading 10th Datacloud Awards with a gala awards ceremony and dinner hosted by a special celebrity guest will take place on the evening of 6th June. The Awards will recognise excellence and innovation across the industry.
Datacloud Europe 2017 will also play host to the 2nd Invest in Data Centre Africa which will be collocated in Monaco. Last year’s inaugural event garnered huge interest from major players and investors alike.
