This Friday, November 5th MADD is hosting its annual Walk Like MADD event in Carlsbad. Last year’s event was a smashing success, with hundreds coming out to show support. This year’s 5K walk is projected to be the same great event but even larger.

Many community leaders are involved in the project. Other community organizations and businesses have lent their support. Among the first to sign up, and a sponsor in 2015’s event was Ehline Law. Led by former Marine Michael Ehline, the law firm knew that it had a role to play in being part of the solution. Unfortunately, fighting for auto accident victims over the last decade showed the dark side of drunk driving and the very real suffering that families face due to it.

Walk Like MADD is open and welcome to the public and walkers of all ages. It is hoped that the event will further increase awareness of the dangers of drunk driving and how ordinary people can stand up to stop it. In such a fight, every contribution is valuable and no help is too small.
