Newly Released Product Reduces Homeowner’s Wood Burning Stove Problems

According to a survey of Draftbooster testers, conducted by the Draftbooster company, the innovative chimney fan has contributed to solving a lot of major challenges posed through the use of wood burning stoves. Inspired by feedback from the community and a need for their jeans which feature no button or zipper, the company was pulled to create their “Adopt-A-Jean”® Friday program. Individuals who otherwise may not be able to afford a pair of jeans may nominate a family member, loved one or individual to receive a donated pair of Downs Designs or NBZ Jeans, to be donated each Friday.

Many of these loved ones are unable to manipulate a button or zipper, and are left with limited to no options for feeling confident, comfortable, and being able to dress themselves. As their mission statement states, Downs Designs Dreams advocates disability awareness, promotes independence and instills confidence by designing, developing and marketing a special clothing line for special people in order to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families. Downs Designs Dreams houses two brands: Downs Designs, which designs clothing to fit the unique body shape of a person with with Down syndrome, and NBZ Jeans, for those of a typical build who may have trouble manipulating a button or zipper. A new crowdfunding campaign has been launched on Indiegogo to raise $500,000 for a new global job exchange platform. The new platform called Scoutynaut aims to revolutionize the job search and hiring process.

Scoutynaut, a new global job exchange platform with ambitions to completely revolutionize the way people search for jobs and hire new employees, has launched a funding campaign on crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

The platform combines both job listings for job seekers and a job recruiting system for employers. By using a specially developed matching algorithm, Scoutynaut aims to make it easier for people seeking jobs to be connected with those seeking employees.

“One key decision when our idea of Scoutynaut was born was to make the system available to everyone,” a spokesman for the service said. “We’re creating the next generation of online job recruitment, and want to offer the opportunity to use a fast and highly efficient system to any company, from small businesses to large enterprises.”

The system Scoutynaut has created is simple: Job seekers create a digital CV or resume, and based on their experience and settings, they’re matched with employers. It’s an ambitious project with an equally ambitious funding goal – $500,000. Participants in the program complete – as part of their sentence – a variety of programs such as: court ordered counseling, post-traumatic stress disorder counseling, mental health counseling, drug or alcohol addiction counseling or other treatments.

COLOMBIA, SC – 10/16/2015 (PRESS RELEASE JET) — “South Carolina homeowners, commercial, and income property owners, and water damage restoration companies usually fail to take the extraordinary steps necessary and required to successfully prevent, locate, test, kill, and get rid of toxic mold growth hidden inside walls, ceilings, floors, basements, crawl spaces, attics, and heating/cooling systems flooded by the historic flooding across much of the Carolinas in October, 2015,” cautions Phillip Fry, Certified Environmental Hygienist, Professional Industrial Hygienist, and co-manager of the nationwide firm EnviroFry Upkeep Masters, LLC.

“House and building flooding puts mold-causing water and high humidity into, above, and below all flooded building materials. Most flood water cleanup efforts do not prevent, find, and remove hidden toxic mold growth because property owners, residents, managers, and flood cleanup crews do only superficial or limited flood cleanup efforts,” adds Mr. Fry, who has been webmaster of the mold authority website www.moldinspector.com since 1999.

“One major mistake is the use of fans to dry out flood-impacted building materials. Fans continually blow airborne mold spores throughout the entire building, including inside heating and cooling system air ducts and non-flooded areas. Instead, for mold-safe drying, use large dehumidifiers along with multiple, large, high-capacity air scrubbers that utilize 2 inch-thick HEPA filters to remove airborne mold spores and other air contaminants plus a 1 inch-thick activated carbon filter to remove airborne mold mycotoxin poisons thrown into the air by active mold growth. Such air scrubbers remove 99% of airborne mold spores and mycotoxins. The exhaust air flow from air scrubbers needs to be taken by flexible ducting to the outdoors,” recommends Fry, author of five mold advice books.

Fry’s firm EnviroFry Upkeep Masters, LLC, provides these twelve advanced mold prevention and removal steps for flood-damaged residences and commercial buildings in South Carolina:

1. Provide multiple eight-hour long treatments with high output ozone gas to kill mold spores, mold growth, water-borne germs, and flood and mold odors throughout the entire residence or commercial building. EnviroFry does this ozone treatment as both the first and last step for effective mold killing and mold prevention, as well as at other key times in the mold remediation project. 8. Spray an EPA-registered fungicide on all exposed timbers and interior wall surfaces.
9. Apply an anti-microbial coating on all exposed timbers to help prevent future mold growth.
10. Use a powerful duct-cleaning machine to clean the inside of heating and cooling air ducts, followed by ozone treatment and EPA-fungicidal fogging inside the cleaned ducts.
11. Do a final house-wide treatment of the house with both ozone gas and an EPA-registered fungicide.
12. Do surface and air mold testing the remediated home or building both before and after water damage and mold cleanup.

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – October 19, 2015 – Young Construction Innovations recently announced their Kickstarter project to cut down work-related injuries. Young Construction Innovations (YCI) takes part in the creation, prototyping and patenting of construction tools and equipment. They also take pride in engineering, developing and prototyping safe, agronomical, solid built, and user-friendly tools to aid in the Construction community.

Their first project, YCI has created a design for a single hand tool that would drastically cut down the numbers of nail-gun injuries. With this simple invention, they can also eliminate back problems, product waste, slow productivity, metal consumption, plastic consumption, and reduce the need for oil and gas on any given construction site. 

Young Construction Innovations are planning to publicly releasing this hand tool within the next month or two. However, before they can release this innovative product, YCI needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $5,000 by November 12, 2015. The funds raised will go towards producing a simple tool that will reduce the risk of injuries for the everyday hard worker.
