16 Oct, 2015 – AT&T just announced that the National Veteran Business Development Council (nvbdc.org) has been accepted as one of only three Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Business Certification Authorities in the United States for AT&T’s Global Supplier Diversity Program.
AT&T joins GM, Ford, Kellogg, 3M, and Consumers Energy in supporting NVBDC as a Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Business Certification Authority.
“As a Service disabled veteran owned business supplier to AT&T, OpTech Enterprise Solutions (OES) is extremely pleased that AT&T has recognized our NVBDC Veteran business certification. OES is proud to be one of the NVBDC’s original certified Veteran businesses and we would like to acknowledge AT&T’s longstanding leadership in working with fellow Veteran business owners.
“AT&T has continually set the standard for the engagement of diversity enterprises. I highly encourage other major corporations across America to join AT&T and make a commitment to hire Veteran owned businesses certified by the NVBDC. This is the right thing for America and for our Veterans.” – Lieutenant General (Retired) Ricardo S. Sanchez, CEO of OES.
