The 4th edition of the Malaysia International Building Materials and Construction Technology Exhibition (BUILDTECH) is gearing up to be the most transforming and successful yet. This year’s attendees can expect one notable difference compared to previous years: increase in the number of international exhibitors in support of BUILDTECH 2015’s aim of helping Malaysian suppliers attain global standards. Out of over 200 exhibitors, a record 63% occupancy of international companies will feature in this year’s exhibition (regarded as Malaysia’s most prominent event of its kind) that will be held at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) in Kuala Lumpur from 7 to 10 October 2015.
Organized by experienced trade event organizer Trade Link ITE, BUILDTECH 2015 will showcase international exhibitors from countries such as Italy and Turkey who are set to introduce industry-leading technologies to the Malaysian market. In addition to a strong presence from New Zealand as well as European countries, a number of prominent construction and building companies from China, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan, many of whom are regulars, will also be among the exhibitors.
A new feature at BUILDTECH this year is its unique Business Matching Program. Inspired by the interest for international brands, this new program will benefit attendees seeking to network and forge valuable partnerships with international exhibitors who match their needs and profile. The Business Matching Program, along with the ‘first come first serve’ sales galore of new and reconditioned machinery, are just some of the activities designed to get participants stay busy networking and make long-term connections throughout the duration of the exhibition.
Also introduced this year are several shows that are simultaneously being held at the same venue with BUILDTECH 2015. These co-locating shows include the International Construction Machinery, Equipments, Accessories, and Technology Exhibition (CONMAC), the Construction Materials Show (CONMAT), the Building Material, Architecture & Interior Exhibition (A&I), and the Malaysia International Hardware Show (MHS) which will feature profiles that are specialized in the fields of construction machinery, construction materials, architecture, and hardware.
The inclusion of these co-locating shows adds further credence as to why BUILDTECH 2015 is being billed as the most comprehensive sourcing hub and event for the construction and building industry.
