BAKERSFIELD, California – March 7, 2016 – TextBlocker is the latest app idea that will save lives by blocking texting, social media, and other distracting features on a cell phone while individuals drive. In 2011, at least 23% of automobile accidents involved cell phones. That number has since gone up. However, there lacks a solution to this growing problem of distracted driving! John Litteral, single father of two from California, launched a Kickstarter campaign to make TextBlocker a reality. The goal is to raise $30,000 by April 16, 2016.
It’s time to use the same technology that has caused so many accidents to prevent accidents. The TextBlocker will disable texting, calling, and notifications from the user’s cell phone while they’re driving 20 MPH or more. This is a great tool that will save many lives! Currently, the app is just an idea. With the people’s help, John can develop the app and make it available for everyone to use.
Click here to make a contribution and help save lives! Perks will be delivered by June 2016.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal. If the campaign does not reach the funding goal, then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference. This is also an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special project! Help the campaign reach its goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
