COVINGTON, Louisiana – 1 Mar, 2016 – Shane Tanguis launched a Kickstarter campaign to create software, the Realize Legacy App, that will help families instill helpful mental habits and inspire empowering priorities in their existing culture. Families can use the app to build an upgraded coat-of-arms – the first digital heirloom – with a unique, meaningful image, motto and family creed. The campaign goal is to raise $26,320 by March 29, 2016.
What do parents want for their kids? For them to be happy. The Realize Legacy allows parents to lay a foundation for what their family stands for and to make it motivating, effective and inspiring. Families can use the app to find a meaningful image that speaks to them, something to which they’d be proud to associate their last name. They can then pair that inspiring image with an outline of their most cherished values and the ideas they most want fused into their family culture. Only families can answer these questions. We simply provide the canvas. They use it to create the world’s first fully customizable digital heirloom.
The process is simple:
1. Choose a selection of meaningful images. Users can change the size, color, etc.
2. Fill out a questionnaire to answer questions of what suits the family – which ideas they’d like to emphasize, which qualities they admire, etc.
3. Add a family motto or pick from a vast amount of quotes available from great minds such as Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, and Steve Jobs.
Families can then print and frame what they’ve created. They can put it on blankets, stationery, use it as a great gift for weddings or anniversaries or for t-shirts at family reunions. The uses are endlessly customizable.
