TORRANCE, CA – 25 Jan, 2016 – Troy Technologies, Inc. (“Troy Technologies”), a Torrance-based manufacturer of adult travel wheelchairs, today announced expansion of its product line to include in home and office mobility solutions. Troy Technologies today officially launches global marketing of its Revo 360, a decor-enhancing, non-medical office wheelchair that is smaller than a typical wheelchair, designed for easier maneuvering in home or commercial office environments.

The Revo 360 is the first home or commercial office product of its kind by Troy Technologies, with plans for an expanded office line in the works for release in later in 2016, including an executive version of the Revo 360. To accommodate the company’s growth, it has relocated to new offices and warehouse space to 2531 West 273th Street, Suite 115, Torrance, CA 90505.

Over the last decade, Troy Technologies has built a reputation as the go-to travel wheelchair company, serving travelers with varying mobility challenges, making travel more accessible to a wider range of older adults and others requiring intermittent or constant mobility assistance during travel.

The company also provides wheelchair foam inserts and other components to wheelchair manufacturers.

The foray into non-medical home and commercial office mobility comes at a time when many global companies, such as Comcast/NBC/Universal, Merck, Raytheon, American Airlines and several others are recruiting highly skilled workers with mobility limitations.

Troy Technologies CEO, Nathan Watkins, said, “Timing is optimal to introduce a product like its Revo 360, for use by an increasing differently-abled workforce. As demand for technology workers continue to expand and aspects of manufacturing become automated, mobility challenges will fall by the wayside as a stumbling block to professional advancement. Strides toward inclusion by the fashion and travel industries are now being emulated by mainstream commerce.”
