New York, NY – On December 3 2015, Kalman Venczel launched a Kickstarter campaign for Cameleon, broadcasting software for free video streaming and YouTube Live streaming from mobile, GoPro, webcams, CCTV or IP cameras. With Cameleon, you can open limitless possibilities without the need for technical knowledge.
“Whether you’re recording a concert, a sports event, a talk show, or just yourself, now you can stream your event – live and direct – right to your audience,” says the creator.
Live streaming has gained a lot of popularity recently, with apps like Periscope, Meerkat and YouTube Live making it possible for anyone to share their best moments with the world. Live streaming also has many different uses; you can create your own reality TV show, a DIY security system, a baby monitor, pet camera and more! Best of all, the team behind this project is working hard to make Cameleon the easiest and cheapest way to broadcast live to YouTube and Facebook.
“In order to keep up with our maturing apps, the iOS development needs some support that we aren’t able to provide any more. By supporting Cameleon, you will help us focus on the iPhone application for two months,” Venczel explained, “Even with the tiniest support, you will take Cameleon from Windows and Mac to your iPhones and Android devices.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including Kickstarter Beta User/Tester access for as little as $9 or Beta access with tested custom firmware presets for select CCTV WiFi HD Camera brands for $45. Backers can also pledge $5,000 to get involved with the development of the project, have your ideas heard and potentially benefit the Cameleon community.
