The free-lance programmers will be able to work remotely from home sending their works daily to DutyFreeZone.com headquarter.
Web Designer / Developer/ App developers
We have an immediate need for several web Designer/developer focusing on creating responsive web designs. You must be self-motivated and have an eye for design and great HTML5/CSS3 coding skills (ideally you’ll be doing most of your designing in the browser with some Adobe Photoshop). The free-lance candidate must have great time-management skills and be able to juggle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
You would be part of our interactive team, working closely with the DutyFreeZone.com project managers, UX designers, other back-end programmers and testers/QA to ensure delivery of high quality websites.
Primary Responsibilities
• Meet via video conference with other team members to discuss project goals, target markets, and general requirements.
• Review branding strategies, site maps, wireframes, and content plans.
• Based on art direction from the interactive art director and specifications from the project manager, create graphical user interface designs and front-end HTML5/CSS3 for responsive websites (multiple grids), email marketing, and online games.
• Work with our back-end PHP programmers to have your front-end HTML/CSS implemented using on our various PHP based CMS systems.
• Be a self-starter, have high standards, and be able to work independently and on a team to meet deadlines, even if requiring extended work hours.
Experience Required
• A portfolio of responsive websites you have designed and/or developed (include links to your responsive sites or online portfolio).
• Experience coding HTML5/CSS3 (ideally designing in the browser).
• Experience coding JavaScript and using JQuery.
• Experience with PRESTASHOP
Strong Plusses (but not required)
• Understanding of industry best practices for website usability.
• Experience implementing themes for WordPress or Drupal 7.
• Experience coding back-end PHP, SQL, and creating CMS systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Location
You would be required to work remotely from home, however, you must be willing to attend meetings at either office or at headquarter locations throughout the USA , Mexico and Europe. However, you can live anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection and a computer.
Compensation
Your fees commensurate with experience and task and will depend of the quality of your work.
