V Time Management Group, founded by Xuewei Huang, successfully held a high fashion and new media summit at the Harvard Club of New York, at the afternoon of December 9,2017. This summit covered a wide range of specific topics in the fields of fashion, media, culture, and female entrepreneurship, including crossover branding, opportunities and challenges of IPO, and new inspiration business models in fashion and media industries, and revolution of e-commerce.
NEW YORK – Will the crossover cooperation of fashion brands help the fashion industry transform successfully in order to reach the higher level? How should fashion brands highlight their own brand features and appeal to a larger consumers group? How can fashion brands choose and use social media platforms effectively? What is the best way to balance online-offline sales and establish an efficient B2B business model between the Chinese and American markets?
The summit was held primaryly to answer the questions mentioned. Besides, it aimed at building a high-end social platform to facilitate China and US fashion and new media communication. Xuewei Huang(Angela), the founder and CEO of V Time Management Group, gave a opening welcome speech at the beginning of the summit. Xuewei is a talented, intelligent and elegant young female entrepreneur. She studied marketing and international business at Penn State University for her bachelor degree, and will graduate from New York University with a master’s degree in brand management next fall and has specialized in luxury branding management, marketing, public relation and media communication. For professional experience, She used to work for Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, well-know New York local PR agency, New York Fashion Week, and US charity foundation.

Saina, Retail Market Manager, Montblanc North America, Richemont, spoke first in the summit. As an expert in the luxury branding and marketing industries, Saina has spent many years expanding Montblanc’s markets in the US, Canada and China. She shared her years of experience in brand marketing and luxury management with the new generation working in the retail and fashion industries and expressed her unique opinions on the relationship between fashion brands and new media.
Lyn Slater, a 63-year-old culture influencer and professor of Fordham University, later on talking about the essential impact of new media and the emergence of innovative business models in the fashion industry. She also shared her personal lifestyle and work philosophy with the new generation. It is worth mentioning that Lyn has signed a contract with world’s leading model management company Elite in London, cooperated with brands like Mango and Uniqlo and attracted over 265,000 Instagram followers.
Michelle Song is the PR director of the Globe Fashion Week and Co- founders of the New York Fashion and Lifestyle Festival. During the summit, she shared her personal story and career path of being a PR director and founder of fashion brand. Also, she analyzed the opportunities and challenges about crossover marketing in fashion industry such as one of the successful example, Balmain collaborated with HM.
Danni Wang, the famous Chinese American actress and former Miss Chinese First Runner-Up, shared her inspiring story of becoming an actress. She has played in famous TV dramas and films like the Blacklist (2013), Madam Secretary (2014) and Always. At the summit, Danni shared her personal ideas on how to use social media to develop a career as an actress according to her own features.
Yu Chen, the last speaker of the summit is the founder of fashion brand Yee Si and a promising star in the fashion industry. He has worked for top designing firms and won significant award. In his speech, he interpreted his unique designing concepts and personal entrepreneurial experiences from a new perspective. In addition, he talked about how to promote new brands with social media and online selling strategy.
