The PT-RZ31K’s ability to generate bright images with an impressive 20000:1 contrast ratio is just a part of what makes it such a special laser projector. Over the years Panasonic has developed a reputation as a recognized leader in laser projection by developing technologies to extend the basic functionality and image quality of its laser projectors. The PT-RZ31K features new versions of many of these technologies.

Panasonic’s Real Motion Processor, for example, enables the PT-RZ31 to interpolate video images and reproduce a life-like 120 Hz refresh rate while reducing motion blur. The PT-RZ31K also comes equipped with an updated version of Panasonic’s Detail Clarity Processor, which uses a proprietary algorithm to search each individual video frame to identify fine textures and details, and then optimize each of these elements for sharpness and contour using a four-band filter. Panasonic Daylight View 3 technology uses the projector’s onboard sensors to gather ambient light information from the production environment and make automatic adjustments to ensure the quality of the projection.

The projector’s incredible brightness and color accuracy, combined with its filtering and image-enhancing technologies, means that the PT-RZ31K can produce projections of unparalleled sharpness, definition, and color depth, even when compared to today’s other high-end laser projectors. Rob Garvey went on to say this about the PT-RZ31K,

“Even though the PT-RZ31K is a super-premium projector that’s aimed at high-end applications, it’s also a workhorse. It can be mounted in 360 degrees, usually requires very little regular maintenance, and meets tough dust-resistance standards. Communications Makeovers Align External and Internal Messaging

Openness and transparency have become goals at every level in corporate America. Communications strategy is the vital component in determining whether these goals are truly achieved. Experts agree that a complete makeover is best practice.

October 31, 2017 – Boston, MA – Truly disruptive concepts, such as large organizations shifting communications goals from effective response strategies to embracing openness and transparency, are transforming large organizations, for the better. However, experts caution against attempting to implement radically different corporate communications gradually.

A thorough and complete overhaul of communications strategy is the most effective way to align external and internal messaging, says Cynthia Kay, president of communications firm CK and Company.

“While most companies value a ‘brand refresh’ for external communication they don’t put the same effort into internal communications. The standard approach to intra-company communications is piecemeal. Large companies have lots of different communication vehicles that are often out-of-date or they’re in a format that rarely evolves,” says Kay.

Corporate behemoth GE publishes internal email, verbatim, on LinkedIn as part of its new openness initiative, according to a recent story on Forbes.com by Amanda Guisbond. It’s one of many examples of large organizations attempting to pay more than lip service to the lofty, though sometimes disingenuous goal of ‘transparency’.

As Guisbond says, “GE aims to communicate to its employees about big changes first, helping them understand the personal impact of any change and provide context. In doing so, they’ve built a culture that is open and transparent and have been able to translate that into the external domain.” This is a new approach to culture and communicating through serious change for GE.

Kay, who works with organizations of all sizes, including multinationals, is also a proponent of planning for change.

“I believe in an integrated strategic communications approach and this usually means doing a complete communications makeover,” she says.

The communications vehicles being used are often no longer appropriate and in need of an overhaul says Kay, who begins with a communications audit. Video is the new way for many people to consume information of all kinds, whether via YouTube, Facebook Live or webinars, so companies need to incorporate video into their messaging plans.

Another area of change in corporate communications strategy has been the adoption of regular employees or mid-level managers as internal spokespeople, in addition to executive leadership. Kay, who does one-to-one communications training with c-suite leaders as well as group coaching for other employees, says improved communication skills aren’t acquired by osmosis—they must be learned.

“For example, companies need to understand the new reality of doing business with teams that are located around the globe. Because there is less in-person interaction, there’s a higher expectation for communication that’s effective, engaging and that ‘wows’ people.”

“The term disruption does have a negative connotation but businesses should not look at it that way,” he says. “Digital disruption can work in their favor when they properly anticipate, plan and strategize for the coming change.”

The marketing guru says that the disruption is often prompted by the shift in consumer preference and needs. The challenge for businesses, therefore, is to anticipate these changes or, if not, adapt quickly to fill the gap in the market.

The odds are stacked against startups and small businesses. For instance, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reports 8 in 10 companies will typically still be operating after a year in the business. In the second year, only more than 6 in 10 will be able to survive. For the third year, half of those companies will have folded.

Mack says that while external factors such as competition, supply, and demand, or consumer interest will have a huge impact on the survival or failure of the business, it would be a mistake to dismiss the importance of addressing internal issues as well.

“Before growing into a $50-billion company that it is today, PayPal was founded as a tool for cryptology. Imagine what it would have been liked had the company continued on with that route rather than as an online payment platform?” he says. “This is the flexibility I’m talking about. Everybody, from the CEO down to the rank and file, should be working together to adapt to the digital disruption.”
