Written and directed by Rafael Nani, a student of MFA at the New York Film Academy, ‘Rose Garden’ is about Felix (Evan O’Toole), who moves to a new condo with his family, having left with only a short time span to live. With his wit, positivity and attitude towards life and death, Felix manages to change the small community around him, displaying wisdom and bravery. The film is produced by Rafael Nani and Adriana Sandreschi, and the cast includes Roger Argo, Holgie Forrester, and Robert Artz.

‘Rose Garden’ carries a style of humor, pacing and performances that are not found too often. Director RafaNani deeply relates to the film’s overarching theme of meaning of life, and aimed at making a film that could discuss the topic and test the audience reaction. The script for ‘Rose Garden’ is the outcome of an intermediate project at his MFA course. The feedback has now come from all quarters, and every aspect of this epic short has been appreciated.
