The investment marks the first major expansion for the three year old agency which was founded by 2015 Anthill and B&T 30 Under 30 winners George Pappas and George Photios.

The G Squared Brisbane office will be managed by Michael Vanderhelm, the former national marketing and operations manager of retailer My Baby Warehouse.

Valuable Free Credit Score Service Offers Help and Information for Managing Credit Information

HOUSTON – CafeCredit announced today that it has helped over 10,000 people get free access to their credit scores.  Cafe Credit, which launched in 2014 as a financial forum, quickly evolved into an online resource with advice and information related specifically to credit and credit issues.

“This is a big milestone for our company, but it’s just the beginning,” said CafeCredit CEO and founder, Simon Nowak. “There is still a lot of work ahead of us and we are definitely not slowing down. Since the Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act was passed in November 2003, all Americans have been able to get a personal credit report for free, at least once per year. According to CafeCredit, there are three different credit scores from each credit reporting agency, including Experian, Equifax and TransUnion.  In November 2013, FICO started the Open Access Program. The online channels through which free credit scores are available have been expanding, becoming much easier for the consumer to access. That was welcome news for consumers who know that lenders use credit scores to help determine one’s creditworthiness.

The Fletch App is a college retention solution that empowers undergraduates to invite any classmate to a study group with just three taps on their phone or get quick answers around the clock.

Bed Sized Bed Bug Trap LLC Will Receive a U.S. Patent

USPTO has scheduled to issue a patent for bed sized bed bug trap by end of this year. It only needs one day for this invention (starving method) to confirm success even none of bed bugs is killed before the last bug starves. It may need months for well-known methods to determine whether many treatments can kill bed bugs faster than they lay eggs because each treatment by kill-on-contact does nothing to those behind a wall, under a floor, and inside electronics, and because residual effective chemicals such as DDT have been banned. It is no longer right to believe very difficult to get rid of bed 
bugs after this invention.

The invention is based on a concept that a CO2 trap catches bed bugs which can’t touch the bait. The invention enlarges the trap from dish size to bed size and replaces CO2 by sleeper as inaccessible bait. The night feeding is eliminated as sure as sleeping in a bathtub. Since exterminators with easy protection don’t feed bed bugs at daytime, it is feasible to stop bite 24 hours a day after one-time easy job. Bed bug starve quickly after they detect CO2 and crawl for food in futile without dormant at room temperature. This can be confirmed by catching bed bugs into a glass jar.

The invention does not need any of these methods to stop bites immediately. The killing methods fail if a few of bed bugs behind wall and inside electronics survive. The starving method succeeds even it does not catch any bed bug because the number of bed bugs caught today may not change when the last one starves. The confidence of no feeding is as sure as a sleeper in a bathtub eliminates night feeding and an exterminator with easy protection eliminates daytime feeding. The killing methods need weeks or months of hard work to kill bed bugs faster than they lay eggs. The starving method only needs one day to confirm success because no bite today confirms no bite tomorrow based on facts that bed bug population is the highest on day one and the negligible daily effort is identical every day. The killing methods suffer endless cycles of killing at daytime, feeding at night, and letting a survived one lay up to 300 eggs. The starving method solves the problem immediately.

Real-Life Escape Games Coming to Overland Park in Late December

A typical escape game involves a group of people locked in a room for a set amount of time. The group escapes by deciphering clues before the time expires.

Virtual escape games have been popular on the Internet for years, but Tick Tock Escape Games’ real-life escape games bring people together for an exciting opportunity for team-building, for parties or for friends who want to flex their mental muscles against the clock, according to Roger Wagy, the owner of Tick Tock Escape Games.

Wagy found the idea for Tick Tock Escape Games when he and his family his were on vacation during the summer of 2014. “To say we had blast does not do the concept justice,” Wagy said, “It was fun in a way we had never experienced before. We instinctively knew escape games were going to sweep the nation, which they are doing right now.”

The concept intrigued Wagy so much that he decided to go into the escape game business for himself with some original ideas, he said. “As fun as the game was that we visited,” Wagy said, “it seemed clear that the form of entertainment was still in its infancy, and there were many ways to further develop the concept. The elements we experienced [in 2014] were mostly made out of everyday items. We thought it would be great to design game elements from scratch for each game.”

Tick Tock Escape Games will offer one game on its December 28 opening called Beasley’s Billions, and a new challenge, Pyramid Paradox, in February..In both games, groups of two to eight people have one hour to gather clues and escape. In Beasley’s Billions, participants try to unlock themselves from the fictional Thurston Beasley III, their billionaire uncle’s den. Beasley wants to see if his family can work together as a team. In Pyramid Paradox, a team is exploring an ancient Egyptian pyramid. It accidentally triggers a trap blocking the only exit, but there is a fail-safe mechanism the team can activate to escape if it solves the puzzles within an hour.
