Rene’s key responsibilities include, hazard and risk assessment consultation, providing technical expertise in process safety and risk management.  She has developed and provided training and safety guidance to onshore facilities in Brazil, China, and throughout the United States.  This work includes process safety, process hazard analyses, development of Management of Change (MOC) and Inherently Safer Systems (ISS/IST) programs, and strategic implementation plans for safety and environmental compliance. She has experience leading PHA studies using the hazard and operability (HAZOP) and What-If/Checklist analysis techniques.

Rene’ has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the field.  In 2015 she was selected as Outstanding Professional of the Year with Oxford Who’s Who.  In 2016 featured in Women of Distinction Magazine and for 2017 selected as Top Executive of the Year in Risk Management by the International Association of Top Professionals.  Rene’ is also an active member of Center for Chemical Process Safety and American Institute of Chemical Engineers and she participates annually in several events to support her industry and community. Rene’ is also working on an online course to coach women, specifically healers, teachers, and entrepreneurs, in the successful development of their own business through another of her business ventures, CEO Essence. Additionally, she has recently partnered with Salvatore Laureano to develop a line of fashionable business attire for women using environmental and animal friendly materials.

Rene’ holds a BA in Applied Physics and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Southern Oregon University, as well as a Master of Business in Global Enterprise Management from Jones International University. She is certified in LOPA, SIS and SIL identification and calculations.

East Texas-Based Community Bank Plans to Refresh Image with Updated Identity
