Plans of Launching New Company Revealed by the Former Founder of Iyer Health, Krishen Iyer

FRESNO, CA – 1 Mar, 2017 – Iyer Health founded by Krishen Iyer and run by Raymond Giudici sells business as part of a buyout for a larger company’s future growth plan for distribution. Raymond Giudici says they plan to launch a new company in 2017 as they transition in the next few months. Krishen Iyer was the founder of a past insurance brokerage that made the 2015 inc 5000 fastest growing companies. Iyer Health has submitted applications to Inc 5000 for approval.

This company like Iyer’s former company NPM insurance ranks within the fastest growing companies. This is a representation of the new health insurance opportunities in the space. Iyer Plans to launch a new company in 2017. More insurance distribution centers are growing in the insurance space. What started with call centers in the Affordable Care Act days has transformed to the new normal. The current CEO Raymond Giudci says “Much like shopping on amazon, insurance policies are now bought online.” 

Krishen Iyer Sells Iyer Health. The Insurance deal which started in 2015 finalized in late 2016. Iyer is planning to invest in other insurance related ventures in 2017. As the insurance industry continues to go through changes so does the distribution channels. We have been told to expect more consolidation in the near future. Iyer stated that he is interested in the marketing side of the industry and will follow that more closely. “I continue to be amazed by the changes in the health insurance industry. It is much different than it was 12 years ago and even a year ago for that matter.  I think the opportunity is in the marketing side now.”

Most of the insurance based call centers rely heavy on marketing channels which Iyer thinks will be at the forfront of their ongoing plan for distribution of health insurance plans. It is apparent that insurance based platforms for leads are just as important as the call centers themselves. Investing heavy in marketing and advertising  seems to be the way to be at the top of the heap when it comes to the health insurance distribution.

Aristos Press Announces the Publication of SHINING PATH

NAPLES, FL – 2 Mar, 2017 – Aristos Press is pleased to announce the publication of SHINING PATH, William Schnorbach’s first new work of fiction since his romantic action-packed drama, EINSTEIN’S GARDEN.  This new thriller introduces an action adventure hero named Lone Wolf.  During his childhood in the Arizona desert, his Apache grandfather taught him the survival skills that the US military later honed both as an Army Airborne elite paratrooper and then as a CIA paramilitary scout in the Libyan Sahara.  Lone Wolf’s day job as a “skywalker”, (one of those vertigo-free Native Americans who bolt the girders of skyscrapers together) provides cover for his mission.

The book opens in May of 1992 with the kidnapping of a feisty American congresswoman by members of Peru’s Maoist inspired revolutionaries “Sendero Luminoso” (Shining Path in English).   According to historical data from the CIA, these ruthless rebels declared war against the government of Peru in 1980 and were responsible for the death or disappearance of 70,000 Peruvian citizens.  As this story begins, the American spy agency predicted that “Sendero Luminoso” was on the verge of taking over the state and converting Peru into another Cuba.  

Like William Schnorbach’s debut novel, SHINING PATH is a multi-genre read. It is both a fast-paced action adventure and a political thriller. The author spent a total of two years in Peru during the twelve year Shining Path period that ended in 1992.  The reader receives a solid grounding in the history, politics, geography and culture of Andean descendents of the Incas. His earlier novel, EINSTEIN’S GARDEN, is a romantic drama set inside the Afro-Brazilian culture. It reveals Brazil’s African religions and the various deities that hitch-hiked to the new world on slave ships during the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries.  The founder of “Sendero Luminoso”, Abimael Guzman, is portrayed in an accurate manner in the pages of SHINING PATH.  He had fashioned himself as the fourth sword of communism, (after Marx, Lenin and Mao). While his ultimate demise ended the threat to Peru’s sovereignty, his real life journey provides the author with the setting and context for this novel.

Kia Sorento to Reimburse customers for repairs

USA – 2 Mar, 2017 – Purchasers of the 2003-2006 Kia Sorento automobile now have the opportunity to be reimbursed for their expenses if their crank shaft bolt snapped and caused additional engine damage.  A law suit filed in the United States District Court of New Jersey as a nationwide class action, was tentatively settled.   Part of the settlement includes the opportunity for new and used car purchasers of the 2003-2006 Kia Sorento to submit a claim for reimbursement up to $4,900.00.  The law firm representing the car purchasers is the Law office of Shmuel Klein, PA, www.badproductslaw.com.  The settlement website established as part of the settlement of the law suit is http://www.crankshaftboltclassaction.com.    The website includes a link to filing a claim for reimbursement and all of the court documents regarding the litigation and the settlement agreement.  Kia Motors Company produced over 200,000 Kia Sorentos and purchasers of those vehicles may be reimbursed for the costs of the repairs by filing a claim form.

 The Nationwide class action lawsuit alleged that the 2003-2006 Kia Sorento is prone to catastrophic engine failure.

Plaintiffs from across the United States alleged in the Kia Sorento class action lawsuit that Kia Motors knowingly concealed that its Sorento SUV crossovers were manufactured with a defective engine part called the crank bolt. This alleged engine defect leads to a catastrophic chain of events that starts with severe heat buildup, the release of debris, and then leads to loss of steering control, engine failure and the potential for a hazardous accident, according to the class action lawsuit.

“Not only did Kia actively conceal the material fact that this particular component is defectively designed (and requires costly repairs to fix), but it also did not reveal that the existence of this defect would diminish the intrinsic resale value of the vehicle,” plaintiffs say in the Kia Sorento class action lawsuit.

The plaintiffs allege Kia has known about the Sorento engine defect for years, as evidenced by numerous online complaints, but has withheld this information from consumers while making numerous statements about the quality and reliability of the Sorento. As a result, Kia’s “scheme of false and misleading advertising and marketing” has caused tens of thousands of consumers to purchase a Sorento over another vehicle without the alleged defect.

When Sorento owners with vehicles still under warranty sought repairs related to the engine defect, Kia only temporarily repaired the damaged parts or replaced them with similarly defective components, the class action lawsuit continues.

Furthermore, the class action lawsuit accuses Kia of profiting from the alleged Sorento engine defect by performing unnecessary replacements, computer reprogramming and software updates despite knowing the true cause of the problem.

The Kia Sorento class action lawsuit is brought on behalf of a nationwide class of consumers that purchased or leased the first generation Sorento. It is seeking damages, injunctive relief – including a recall to repair the alleged defect – and more for alleged breach of warranties, breach of contract, negligence and violations of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.

The only way to get reimbursed for expenses for parts and labor for the repairs for the crank shaft bolt failure and related engine replacement is to file a claim at www.crankshaftboltclassaction.com.

The Exclusion Deadline for persons to exclude themselves from the class action is Monday, April 3, 2017.  The Objection Deadline Monday, April 3, 2017 and the Final Approval Hearing for the settlement is Monday, June 19, 2017.

Shmuel Klein, attorney for the plaintiffs class action said he believed this settlement was in the best interests of all the plaintiffs because it offers a substantial recovery of up to $4,900.00 for new car buyers whose bolt snapped prior to 100,000 miles and for used car buyers if the bolt snapped prior to 60,000 miles.  Litigation can last decades without any recovery.  This settlement provides an immediate recovery for individuals now rather than much later.  It also includes no deduction for attorney fees but instead direct recovery for all those who qualify.

NY Court Awards Landlord Massive Legal Fees in Veteran’s Eviction Case

NEW YORK, NY – 3/2/2017 — The New York Court of Appeals upheld a lower court decision to charge a tenant for all legal fees a landlord incurred in attempts to evict him. The matter was initially brought to the court’s attention when the landlord, Larry Ginsberg, head of Algin Management/Laurence Towers LLC, and owner of over thirty high-rise buildings in New York, filed to evict a 40-year tenant on the basis of a late payment on one rental check.  

Tenant Gerard Sunnen claims that this one check was duly sent but simply not cashed. He states, “My rent checks were cashed for forty years, and one month, nothing. Then I was led to understand that the market value of my apartment was a third more, and that unless I made up the difference, they wanted me out.”

The matter landed in NYC’s Housing Court, where months of court appearances cumulated landlord’s legal fees, now billed to the tenant. Demanding some $19,800 reflecting the copious rates of the landlord’s lawyers, Belkin, Burden, Wenig and Goldman, LLP, the matter went to justice Anne Katz, head of NY’s Housing Court. Judge Katz upheld the landlord’s demand.

Tenant Sunnen, a Vietnam–era U.S. veteran (USAF-MC 71-73; USAF Reserves 73-82), baffled by the verdict states, “When I came out of active military duty, that was my first rental, and during all these years I have been duly responsible. The landlord, however, has relentlessly tried to nix my rent stabilization, and this with some success. I have also been threatened with eviction and narrowly escaped the City Marshall’ s services.”

Appealing the decision to the NY Supreme Court Appellate Term, First Department, the matter awaited final adjudication.  In a January 2017 decision, justices Martin Shulman, Martin Schoenfeld, and Doris Ling-Cohan upheld judge Katz’s order.

“Tenants’ rights are sacrosanct in many cities around the world,” tenant Sunnen added, “where community cohesion and cultural richness are so well respected. In these turbulent times moving to upend the essence of New York’s proprietary fabric via massive real estate upheavals, veterans as all New Yorkers should live in the safety of spaces adequately shielded from powerful predatory interests, all in the context of a protective judicial system.“
