New Kickstarter Campaign Launches For FN BS, A Strategy Game Based on the Seven Deadly Sins and Truth

Brea, CA – On January 26 2017, J.P. Fisher launched a Kickstarter campaign for FN BS, a micro card game based on the seven deadly sins and Truth, also known as Veritas. This 20 minute, 2-6 player game requires players to use strategy, deception, and perseverance to win.

“Sin players compete to survive by collecting resources, using their sin powers, and eliminating other players,” explains Ζack Onaga, one of the game’s artists, “Sin players must watch out for the Veritas player, who will try to convert them into fellow allies. The twist: players can lie about what sins they possess. A player literally calls ‘FN BS’ when he or she thinks someone is lying.”

Cards represent life in this game, so if a player loses all their cards they lose. On their turn, players can choose to work or invest to earn resources, use their resources to Nuke a player and take one of their cards, or use the power of a Sin card. Each deck has one Veritas card, and the player who picks up that card can no longer use Sin cards. Instead, they must try to win by converting all the remaining players to the Truth.

The seven deadly sins in this game are represented by cute animals. The artists have also designed two Kickstarter Exclusive variant decks: Chaos and Chibi. The team is excited to be working with Admagic, who helped create other popular crowdfunded card games like Cards Against Humanity and Exploding Kittens.

The game was originally more complicated with a board, character pieces, and over 50 cards. But after being inspired by trending micro card games like Love Letter, Coup, and One Night Ultimate Werewolves, the game evolved into a much simpler form with its own unique twist. After several play tests and surveys, the final game was complete. Now Fisher and his team have turned to the Kickstarter community to share this game with the world.

“At the end of the day, Zach and I are just two nerds with a dream to make a great game. So naturally Kickstarter became the best way for us to get this game out in the world and into your hands. ROCKWALL, TX – 20 Feb, 2017 – Dan Calnon of Rockall Texas has just returned from Dallas Texas where he graduated from the Texas Auction Academy on Sunday February 12, 2017.

While in Dallas, he completed 83 hours of intense auctioneer training.  Classes covered during the nine day course included auctioning real estate, estates, antiques, heavy equipment, purebred and market livestock, automobiles, government sales, farm sales, and fundraiser events.  Dan was taught the rapid fire technique used by auctioneer Hall of Fame member and instructor, Mike Jones. Dan’s 20 years experience with other elements like public speaking, ethics, bookkeeping, sales tax regulations, community involvement, state and federal laws helped tremendously.

St. Louis Hearing Aid Company Helps Woman in Need

ST. LOUIS, MO – 21 Feb, 2017 – Southwestern Hearing Centers pays it forward and helps a woman in need get her life back with the gift of hearing.

Tony Hilker contacted Southwestern Hearing Centers on behalf of the non-profit group Making A Difference about a woman named Cassie, who had been struggling to hear for over a year. Cassie’s hearing troubles made it difficult to hold down a job and as a result she was living in a homeless camp.

“Cassie had a very severe hearing loss. She couldn’t hear a car coming. Communicating was tough, and she was just isolated,” Southwestern Hearing Specialist Carol Eaton explained. “I was honored to be able to help. Cassie was a girl that needed a chance in life and she just wasn’t getting it.“

With her new hearing aids Cassie will not only be safer, but will also have an easier time communicating with her family, friends and eventually co-workers.

“These [hearing aids] have helped me in so, so many ways. I can hear perfectly now. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to,” Cassie explained through tears.

Southwestern Hearing Centers has been helping people in our communities for 70 years. “This is why we do what we do, we get to help people from all walks of life every single day,” Owner Mike Marino said. “There is no feeling like watching someone light up when they hear sounds they haven’t been able to hear in years.”
