A Cannabis business education and training and start-up seminar, by 420 College, will be hosted live on February 4 and 5, 2017, and cover everything about starting a business, operating it, and getting licensed in one’s location.

The two-day seminar, “Cannabis Business Education & Training – Pasadena”, has been announced by 420 College, the Premier National Cannabis Institute. The live business training seminar will take place on February 4 and 5, 2017, at 10:00am. In addition, it will cover all aspects of operating such a business, getting licensed, and training on cannabis cultivation.

A Comprehensive View of the Latest Regulations

Under the Medical Cannabis Regulation & Safety Act (MCRSA), cannabis patients will be prohibited from starting businesses after January 1st, 2018. Any given collective organization won’t be able to serve more than five patients. The law includes a package of bills signed by California governor Jerry Brown. These bills designate the agencies responsible for various aspects of enforcement, including the Department of Food and Agriculture, Department of Pesticide Regulation, Department of Public Health, and environmental and law enforcement agencies.

The latest regulations also cover licensing. State licenses, under the law, will begin to be issued by January 2018. Single licensees will be limited to cultivating four acres statewide. In addition, uniform health, safety, and testing standards are to be established. A third bill authorizes the California Medical Board to oversee physicians in regards to recommendations, business interests, and advertising.
