Joker Greeting, created by Travis and Nick Peterson, was founded on the original Joker Card. They launched a Kickstarter and raised over $90,000, and it was featured everywhere, from Buzzfeed to CNET. It was hailed “pure diabolical genius.” So, they improved the cards and created five new cards! Therefore, in order to fund these awesome, prank greeting cards, Joker Greeting launched a Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project was to raise $10,000 by December 30, 2015. However, Joker Greeting is proud to announce that they’ve exceeded their goal. But, that doesn’t mean interested parties shouldn’t back the project! Backers get these funny, prank greeting cards before anyone else and at a lower price than retail value.

O’FALLON, Missouri – November 10, 2015 – A special eating utensil for those who have suffered a stroke, or suffer from other hand issues was recently announced by product designer Harold Hogarth. This innovative product helps patients or victims of hand issues, feed themselves and feel independent. Harold came up with the idea of the product after his father couldn’t feed himself anymore. So, he asked Harold to invent a new spoon and fork shortly before he died. Harold designed the product, performed testing with 3D models and found that the tool works. Besides stroke victims, it is perfect for those who suffer from carpel tunnel and arthritis. 

The incredible, new product is also a great tool for kids from two to six, to help them learn to eat properly without dropping their utensil. However, before victims of a stroke or other hand problems can use this innovative tool, Harold needs help. That’s why he launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $65,000by December 1, 2015. The funds raised will go towards production and manufacturing.

Berkeley, CA—November 7, 2015— Berkeley Film Friends, or [BFF], is UC Berkeley’s largest film networking club. Founded in 2010 by Dr. George Larkin while he was a graduate student, BFF is designed to aid the careers of Cal students seeking to work in the entertainment industry. The organization includes more than 1600 members. As a group, they have boosted the careers of countless students, helping them find jobs and internships at The Colbert Report, DreamWorks, Pixar, Paramount, Spike TV, Hulu, and many other places. BFF recently announced an exciting, new web-series documenting Cal alumni and filmmakers at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. For Sundance 2016, they have launched a completely original web series documenting the entire process of their journey to the festival for the benefit of education for other student filmmakers. 

The BFF team has expanded from three to twenty-seven members who do everything from producing to fundraising, camera operating, researching, editing, and reporting. Together, they envision bringing Cal students, professional filmmakers, and artists into a strong and vibrant community of students and alumni to cultivate a culture of mentorship at Sundance. This project serves and embodies The BFF vision of networking and inclusion, as well as their theme, “The knowledge to succeed in this business, should be free and accessible to all.” However, before these twenty-seven UC Berkeley undergrads can make this web series, Berkeley Film Friends need help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $5,000 by December 3, 2015.
