Wartune Version 6.1 has Officially Launched its new Outland System

Wartune officially formed its Outland System in version 6.1 on 26th September! The brand new system was carried out with three themes which are Outland Exploration, Outland Crystal and Post Grab Fight and Conquer. The vast and exceedingly valuable resources hidden in the outland are waiting to be claimed by those who have started colonizing the lands.

Several regulations related to this system have been changed. Guild Leaders will need to spend Guild Wealth to enroll their guilds and then join outland events the following day. Event duration depends on the month. One event consists of 3 real months. The Outland map is divided into 5 main continents, and players must click on one to enter. It will start with four parties occupying the continents at each of its four corners, as well as an equal part of the middle.

The system of Wartune will match guilds from the same server into teams based on Guild Battle Rating and the total number of enrolled guilds. When outland events start, guilds that enroll halfway through the month will join the party with the lowest Battle Rating. If a guild is dismissed in the middle of an event, all guild members from that guild will be removed from the party.

①  Outland Crystals, which will be distributed based the number of posts by each party, can be collected.

②  Guild Leaders in a party may declare war on an adjacent post. Each party can only declare war twice. When two parties are at war, members from both parties can only join their own party’s faction. Other parties can only join the party with fewer people.

③  Post Grab participants will be sent to the battlefield to occupy posts to earn points.

①  Players may collect Outland Crystals from the Central Crystal.

②  Players participate in the Central Crystal War as a party.

③  During the event, parties may obtain bonuses from Attack and Defense Blessings.

④  The Four Generals’ points and number of remaining defenders will be displayed.

There is an Outland Exploration entrance at the corner of continent. Players can spend Exploration Points to enter. They also decide which direction to move at an intersection. Use Balens to refill Exploration Points and take action when encountering Random Events.

THERE IS A BETTER WAY TO BUILD AN ATHLETIC FIELD

AUSTIN, TX – 10/19/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) — Hellas Construction is supporting many high schools and universities – we all have our favorite team but the prevention of injuries and concussions is important for everyone. In the midst of football season Hellas Construction is launching its own safety campaign to increase the awareness and how to build a safer synthetic turf field for athletes.

A “safer” sports field is one that has a consistent and low G-max or shock absorption. By installing a Cushdrain® underneath the turf an artificial turf field will retain a consistent G-max over time, improve drainage, and ensure planarity. It’s simply a better way to build a field and it is providing a safer, more efficient long-term investment for the buyer. An unsafe field has a high G-max and can lead to an increase in concussions. A higher G-max, or harder surface, may be due to compaction, lost infill or turf fibers from wear and tear.

The Cushdrain pad is an elastic layer that is paved in place over the laser-graded drain stone foundation of an artificial turf system. By installing a Cushdrain pad, a sports field will have a base that will last for at least three lifecycles of the synthetic turf. A replacement of the turf is easy and will require no sub-base construction or re-grading, which is typical for a field without a pad.

Ysleta Independent School District made the decision earlier this year to invest in athlete safety. Over the past five months Hellas has been building and installing the seven Matrix® Turf Systems with Cushdrain shock pads for Ysleta, just one of several school districts going the safer route. “Your body feels better after being on it a few hours as opposed to natural grass,” said Jesus J. Perales, Head Football Coach for Del Valle High School, Ysleta ISD, “The feel of the turf is excellent. It has a certain bounce to it,” said Perales.

The increase in Cushdrain installations has nearly doubled for Hellas Construction since last year. It is a better choice that school districts are making and taking seriously when it comes to athletes’ well being.  “There are many components and products that go into a sports construction project,” says Reed J. Seaton, President and CEO of Hellas Construction, “but our Cushdrain shock pad is one of the most important products for the safety aspect,” says Seaton.

These are just some of the top trends to look for in the fenestration industry in 2017 according to leaders of Hy-Lite®.

“Our research accurately predicted that 4′ x 1′ transom windows would start gaining popularity during the second half of 2016,” says Roger Murphy, president of Hy-Lite, a U.S. Block Windows Company. “We’re having to increase production to keep up with demand for transoms right now. Merger of BlackOps Cyber and GhostSec Thwarts Brussels Terror Attack

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – 10/19/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) — GhostSec, formerly part of the Anonymous collective, has merged with an established intelligence agency. GhostSec has been instrumental in helping authorities around the world to prevent terror attacks and locate persons of interest connected to terrorism and cybercrime.

On September 22, a terror plot against Université libre de Bruxelles, in Belgium, was thwarted due to intel uncovered by GhostSec, an online counterterrorism unit which has been instrumental in thwarting terror attacks in the past. GhostSec recently merged with BlackOps Cyber (BOC), an intel agency which provides a wide range of services including intel collection, darknet operations, threat analysis, monitoring of threat actors and counterterrorism services.

The threat emanated from a jihadist account on Twitter. According to BOC, the threats were discovered in a series of tweets and revealed an imminent plan to carry out an attack on the university in Brussels. From prior intel collected, BOC operatives knew Brussels had a high probability of being attacked again, as the city is often mentioned in jihadist communications.

Prior to last month’s attacks in New York and New Jersey, this particular Twitter account was openly tweeting the easily located and legally purchased components of canister and pipe bombs. The tweets also indicated the bombing would be in retaliation for the US-led coalition bombing of the University of Mosul.

Tempest Development Group takes local government software to a single new platform

Washington, District of Columbia (getnews) October 20, 2016 – fecher announces the successful completion of an application modernization project for Tempest Development Group. Headquartered in a Vancouver suburb, the company has become a leading provider of eGovernment solutions in Western Canada. During the 18-month project cycle, fecher transferred the 20 plus municipal administration application packages to a standardized, consistent .NET architecture. The roll out has started as scheduled in July 2016. By the end of 2017, all fifty plus clients will gradually be transitioned to the new software.

Tempest’s applications cover a wide spectrum of local government business operations, whether at the city, community or district level. They handle dog licenses as well as business licenses, property taxes, building permits, traffic tickets and fines. The Tempest Development Group’s Senior Product Manager Mike Jensen explains: “While we had an integrated system at the database level, every application was an independent executable. The applications often contained duplicated code as over time there had become many versions of code for performing very similar core product functionality.” In addition, the 15-person development team had become more and more constrained by the 4GL nature of the Gupta Tools. “The rapid development capabilities that Gupta provided were no longer our top priority. We now needed more control and the time delay in waiting for new technology features to become available in the development tools was becoming more of a concern,” Mike Jensen adds.

After some extensive prototyping conducted at the end of 2013, the go-ahead to convert a total of 1.6 million SAL items to the new platform was given in April 2014. It wasn’t only the large number of code lines that made this project unusual. An even greater challenge fecher had to master was that development continued throughout the entire project.

Mike Jensen is very pleased with the porting project. “Our application’s value is now safely in C# code and we can build on that,” he says, summarizing the achievement. In the future, he sees the application as a web-solution, although this will have to meet increased security requirements for the public sector. He plans on developing this strategy over the coming months and sees and the application modernizers from Germany as a strong viable solution that would provide a web-enabled software in a timely fashion: “Throughout the project, the fecher porting team proved to us many times that fecher can ably master our special challenges.”

Extra Mile Day Shines Light on Extra Mile Heroes Making a Difference

November 1 declaration recognizes volunteers who just don’t talk about change, but they work to create it.

Los Angeles, CA, October 20, 2016 — On November 1st, 550 mayors from across the United States will declare “Extra Mile Day” and recognize the difference-making heroes in their local communities. In association with Extra Mile America, mayors in large cities and small towns are making the November 1st declaration. From Kodiak, Alaska to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, mayors will acknowledge the impact of local individuals and organizations who are “going the extra mile” in service and volunteerism in order to serve a need in their communities.

Started in 2009 with 23 inaugural cities, Extra Mile Day has grown exponentially as cities utilize the declaration to recognize the power of the “go the extra mile” message in their communities. Local cities are taking the time to recognize groups such as the Barre Rotary Trash Pickers in Barre City, Vermont. The Trash Pickers, wearing their brightly colored vests and wielding tongs and trash bags, have picked up 7,124 gallons of garbage from the streets since their Thursday night undertaking started five years ago.

In Hickory, North Carolina, Friends of Hickory have collaborated with local businesses donors such as Lowe’s Food, CommScope Telecommunication, and Corning to transform a parking lot into a new community gathering space. The neighborhood park will contain play equipment, outdoor seating, and a splash pad. It will also feature pottery, mosaic tile, a music section, toddler area and a bicycle repair stand.

“All across the country there are awesome people and groups who have taken the ‘go the extra mile’ spirit to heart and are making a difference in a big way,” says Extra Mile Day founder Shawn Anderson. “It’s the teacher who spends after school hours preparing engaging lessons for her students; it’s the volunteer who works the food line serving the homeless; it’s the person who mows the lawn for his busy next door neighbor. There are thousands of ways we can each go the extra mile and make a difference.”

“We all talk about wanting change,” says Anderson. “However, relying on others to make that happen is only wishing for life to get better. Taking personal responsibility and going the extra mile individually is where change will always have the greatest chance of being created.” Anderson concludes, “Extra Mile Day is a small reminder of the power we each have to create change at any time and on any day.”
