ALS PATIENTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD RESPONDING WELL TO GENERVON’S GM604

LOS ANGELES, CA – 23 May, 2016 – Good results without adverse effects reported by doctors and ALS patients.

Since June 2015, Genervon Biopharmaceuticals has been providing GM604 to individual ALS patients in five countries across five continents under their government health agencies’ special access schemes. This follows the successful Phase 2A placebo controlled randomized double-blind trial of GM604 that was conducted in the USA in 2014.

Genervon acknowledges that these treatments are not conducted with the scientific rigor of a clinical trial in the U.S. These are not randomized double-blind trials, there is no placebo group, and a much wider range of ALS patients have been treated than would be accepted in a clinical trial. However, observations are being recorded by physicians before, during and after treatment, and there is a very high degree of consistency in the reports we received from doctors and patients using GM604:

1. No adverse effects have been reported in any of the international patients treated with GM604. 

2. In all cases, doctors noted that treatment with GM604 coincided with a period of slower ALS disease progression or no discernable progression in the patients. In some cases, reversals in ALS disease progression have been recorded during, and in the four weeks after treatment.   

3. Doctors documented patients’ responses and/or improvements through ALSFRS-R, FVC scores, and other clinical observation as per the treatment protocol during and after the completion of treatment.

4. These improvements are consistent with the 2014 Phase 2A trial results in that they underline our own assertion that GM604 is a promising safe and efficacious treatment for ALS.  

“Providing GM604 for use by doctors to individual patients in multiple locations across many countries does present challenges, but Genervon has also been able to use this process to refine its treatment protocols for this heterogeneous disease,” said Dorothy Ko.

Genervon is in the early stages of planning for Phase 3 trials. However Genervon remains absolutely committed to finding a faster way of demonstrating the safety and effectiveness of GM604 and getting it to ALS patients who simply can’t wait-out the three to five years needed for Phase 3 trials. Three to five years would deny an entire ALS generation around the world the possibility of benefitting from this promising treatment.”

Delaware Valley Man Hopes to Harness Some of Donald Trump’s Magic

MAYS LANDING, NJ – 23 May, 2016 – Using the EBay auction platform, a local Trump supporter strives against astronomical odds to turn a dollar he earned in the 90s (as a Trump Plaza, Atlantic City valet parker) into a million.

“It’s worth a shot,” said the south Jersey resident, who wishes to remain anonymous at this time. “In the same way my former boss defied the odds by becoming the Republican presidential nominee, I’m listing the dollar on EBay in hopes of a miracle.”

The part-time EBay seller could certainly use a miracle, as he stumbled on ‘the holy grail’ of collections when he was just discovering antiques, but—naive and unaware—sold it “for peanuts” to dealers with unscrupulous business ethics.

“I earned an advanced degree and am an adjunct instructor between two institutions,” the man said. “But considering the weekend and evening work involved, my pay equates to much less than minimum wage. Overqualified and underpaid workers are one of the many sad realities Trump is endeavoring to change in this country. I imagine some people in my boat would have mentally abandoned ship after discovering the value of items they had, but I can’t believe God recently brought my mistake to my attention without having something wonderful in store.”

Incidentally, “the Donald Trump magic dollar” has two unauthenticated signatures, one of which appears to be of American film actor, television actor/producer, and author, Keefe Brasselle, who starred in “The Eddie Cantor Story (1953)” and had roles in “A Place in the Sun (1951),” and “Not Wanted (1949).” Also worth noting, if his EBay wish were granted, the seller plans on buying a shore home for his mother and opening and operating a before and after school program for at-risk youth in The Delaware Valley.

Leading motivational speaker and award-winner author Charning Peters’ motivational speech at his recent event “How To Find Your Own Greatness” at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, Mayfair, on May 6, left the audience smitten, inspired and confident.

London, UK – 23rd May, 2016 – Greatness attains a new height when a widely-recognized handicap such as deafness cannot come in the way of attaining success and this very philosophy was highly championed at popular mentor Charning Peters’ recent motivational event at The Royal Institution of Great Britain, Mayfair.

The event, “How To Find Your Own Greatness”, that was hosted on May 6 left the audience highly motivated through the inspiring persona and talks of Peters who used just sign language to prove that success is always attainable if one has the goodwill and determination – no matter how handicapping the circumstances are.

Peters is an inspiration in himself. Deaf since the tender age of 5, he did not give up in the face of his obstacles. Aiming to succeed in life in spite a dominating handicap like deafness, he took to Forex trader training and today he is one of the most successful traders who has even launched a Forex trading academy committed to deaf community. A man of many parts that he is, Charning is also an award-winner author – added to being a very successful mentor who has traveled to different countries to inspire people through his motivational speeches. 

“How To Find Your Own Greatness” was one such motivational speech event by Peters that was meant to bring out the potential greatness inside the attendees and make them feel empowered, inspired & confident. The event was attended by a large host of women who seemed to be completely smitten by Charning’s charisma, inspiring brilliance, dedication to the deaf community and of course, a very classy sense of humor that left the audience in splits.

The event started from 7:30 with a networking session with Peters who appeared at the event with his ravishing supermodel “Queen”. It was followed by his inspiring speech and then a Q & A session with the audience.

After the event, even his bodyguards felt inspired and they told Queen what a fantastic and motivating speaker Charning is!

While asked about since he has quite a goodly story, how does he think of helping the deaf community at the Caribbean & parts of Africa, Peters’ reply was, as usual, laden with his patent goodwill & inspirational tone. Applauds roared as he answered –

“In my native place, they feel that deaf people can’t really achieve anything. When I went over there, they said-‘Oh, you’re so smart, so intelligent, are you deaf?’ I answered – ‘yes, I’m a deaf gentleman’. So, they wanted to use me as a role model to inspire the deaf community there as they haven’t seen anybody as this.”

He continued – “Thus, if I go to Caribbean or Jamaica or any other part of Africa, I will look for the deaf community to spread a similar word. I hope to spread some inspiration over there. Some would change, some would not. I won’t force anything on anybody, but for me it would be just an inspiration to other deaf people like myself.”

Peters believes that everybody has this right to pursue & share success, no matter how adversarial the situations are.

The Faroe Islands in a photo book

The book “Pictures of the Faroe Islands” is one of the most comprehensive photo collection of this small archipelago in the North Atlantic halfway between Iceland and Scotland.

All the pictures of this photo book were taken by the Italian travel photographer Alessio Mesiano fallen in love for the Faroe Islands in 2008. Since then he travelled frequently there to take new photographs for official tourist board Visit Faroe Islands. His pictures have been used for several pamphlets, magazines, travel guides and they have also been used by the local flight company Atlantic Airways.

Why the Faroe Islands? “Well, it is just of these small dimensions that I have fallen for the place. They are so concentrated. A concentration of beauty. Beautiful landscapes, buildings, people, animals and other lovely things. All gathered in this intimate place,” – says Alessio Mesiano – “It is not by chance thatthe Faroe Islands are one of the world’s best-rated islands by National Geographic.

The price for the book, 20x20cm, premium matte paper, is 35 Euro, shipping costs included.

The goal is to print at least 1000 books to sell worldwide. However, in order to achieve the goal he needs help to collect at least 7.000€.

The bracelet carries a microUSB drive and comes with a standard USB adapter for data loading. Given its plug & play compatibility with a smartphone to access the medical data, the user won’t have to download an app. The medical bracelet will store the user’s name, picture ID, allergies, present medical status, present medications, emergency contact numbers that can be messaged or called directly from a smartphone, number of primary physician or an ID video for a family member or friend.
