Afterwards, they will pour the holy water into theinner river on theGrand Ceremony of Water-Releasing Festival in Dujiangyan on April 4th, expressing the good wishes as “drinking water from the same river, enjoying the festival together”.

As a carrier, the holy water-collecting activity strings together the bright pearls scattered on both side of the Minshan Mountain and along the banks of Mingjiang River, digs deeper into the regional culture of Minshan Mountain and Mingjiang River and records the continuous glorious historic culture of ancient Sichuan.
