Everyone loves a celebration and it’s great that the PADI IDC Indonesia Program with Platinum PADI Course Director has so many things to celebrate. Firstly, attracting a record number of professional divers choosing to take their Instructor training with Platinum PADI Course Director Holly Macleod in the Gili Islands.

During 2015 over 100 professional divers chose to take the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) with Holly at Trawangan Dive; the first ever PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) to be established in the Gili Islands, Lombok and the entire Nusa Tenggara Barat area. As well as those taking the PADI IDC program, Holly has issued hundreds of additional instructor level certifications including specialties and Staff Instructor certifications.

Both Holly and the program she has devised have also received multiple awards for her personal professionalism and overall dedication to professional level training. The program has also received the “Commitment to Instructor Development” Award.

Now for 2016, candidates can expect new developments and improvements on the program which have been devised in accordance with market research, candidate feedback and from the experience of the Platinum PADI Course Director who has always worked within PADI 5 Star Centers scattered around the globe.

Previously the program ran on an 11 day schedule with 4 days of pre IDC preparation. In 2016 the prep will be extended to 5 days and the schedule will be altered slightly so as to assist potential candidates in not just making a smoother transition into the IDC, but to get them off to the perfect start with no hesitation. The length of the Instructor course has stayed the same, however there are also some additional workshops included into the program designed to help Instructor graduates make an easy transition into their new career with the confidence and knowledge to be the best instructor that they can.

During the program candidates will study the entire PADI system and their philosophy and approach to “teaching the world to dive”. Core elements of the course include the business of diving, diver acquisition, sales, marketing, diver retention, codes of conduct, PADI Standards and Procedures and teaching techniques for all of the PADI programs available. Students will participate in a whole range of workshops including the Discover Scuba Diving workshop, the Adventures in Diving Workshop, the Rescue Workshop, Various Student Control Workshops and Dive Site Management Workshops as well as many additional workshops pioneered by Holly and her Instructor training team.

Historians saw the fulfillment of that conflict when Alexander the Great defeated Medo-Persia at the Battle of Arbela in 331 BC. Verse 20 mentions the Medes and Persians, but historians overlooked the double application implied by ‘the time of the end’ as those countries are now Iraq and Iran, same area.

This double application is also seen in the 7th of Daniel where “four beasts are four kings which shall arise out of the earth.” verse 17. At the time of this vision, Babylon was declining under its last king, so “shall arise” fits end-time when the lion with eagle’s wings fits again.

The UK has the symbol of a lion and the US has an eagle emblem, and philosophically, it’s not hard to see that alliance. It is interesting that the 2nd creature is a bear (Russia), the leopard with four heads could be an alliance of China, Japan, Korea and Thailand. The dragon would represent the European nations with the little horn (papacy) as it grew out of the Roman Empire historically.

The amazing thing is God’s ability to reveal such relevant end-time symbols thousands of years ago!

Black Films Matter holds home movie binges on Oscar Night

MANCHESTER, NH – 05 Feb, 2016 – The Advocacy group Black Films Matter is supporting private parties all over the world in holding home movie-watching marathons on February 28, the night of the Academy Awards telecast, according to co-founder Durrell Cory.  “If they don’t want us, we’ll hold our own ceremony – in fact thousands of ceremonies – in folks’ houses everywhere,” said Cory. The move is in reaction to the fact that for the second year in a row no  African Americans were nominated in the Best Actor and Best Actress categories.

At first the group planned to hold screenings of less well-known black films in theaters in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Toronto, and Los Angeles on Oscar night.  But then organizers decided that the best way to get the message out to the largest number of moviegoers would be to advocate for people holding their own movie nights at home. A list of suggested black-themed films, as well as those directed or produced by Hispanics and women, another two groups under-represented in the film Academy, is on the group’s website, blackfilmsmatter.net.  Almost all of the films are available on streaming services or on DVD.

“We don’t want to deliver a negative message,” says Deneika Johnson, another co-founder. “Our purpose is not to denigrate what anyone else has done, but to showcase the incredible accomplishments of People of Color and females in the film world.”

The group encourages suggestions from the public  of lesser-known films that are not mentioned on its website.

Laguna Blends Inc. Announces MOA with National Hemp Association

KELOWNA, BC – 05 Feb, 2016 – Laguna Blends Inc. (CSE: LAG) (Frankfurt LB6.F) (GNRSD OTC) (the “Company” or “Laguna”) announces it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Hemp Association, Inc. (“NHA”).

The NHA will be joining as an affiliate in Laguna’s business. The NHA will include Laguna on their website and in their monthly e-newsletters, as a network marketing company which offers high quality, hemp based, functional beverage products.

“The National Hemp Association is excited to join forces with Laguna Blends to offer their nutritional hemp-based product line to our members,” said Zev Paiss, Executive Director of NHA.
