The entire studio was built from the ground up, using the latest and highest quality materials. Everything is completely sound and fire proof. All 3 rooms are also properly acoustically treated for optimal sound reproduction.

The studio features a streamlined approach when it comes to equipment.

“Only the necessities are used here, you won’t find walls and walls of equipment. We use less for a minimalist recording experience, but with no compromises to the quality. We want our clients to be able to focus on what’s important… the Music,” says Michael.

Hired as the main engineer and the man operating the equipment is Audio Engineer and Producer Jay Cloud, who was carefully chosen by Michael based on his outstanding resume and work ethic.

Hangzhou is the Most Attractive City in China for Top Talent

This year, as China marks the 40th anniversary of its National Reform and Opening-up, Zhejiang province in east China, which was a monumental region during the historical reform, held a conference championing further opening-up and vowing to accelerate the attraction of high-end resources including capital, technology and world class talent.

The province wants to have a leading edge in the next round of reform and socio-economic transformation in China, in which the key will be luring more of the brightest talent.

In recent years, some major Chinese cities including Hangzhou, capital of Zhejiang province, have competed for human resources. As these cities jostle for the best talent, they look not only to introduce favorable HR policies but also to improve their city’s ecological environment, making it a more inviting place to live. The latest statistics show that Hangzhou is leading at the forefront of the competition for now.

According to a report by the State Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs of China, Hangzhou has been listed in the “Top Ten Most Attractive Cities for Foreign Talent” for eight consecutive years. In 2017, its net influx of skilled workers and net inflow of overseas talent ranked first among Chinese cities.

Hangzhou recently welcomed the establishment of West Lake University in its Xihu District. In business for more than 25 years, PSI Roofing can perform as well as other contractors in the area on any size job. “We differentiate ourselves,” says president Paulo Souza, “by taking the time to educate the clients, create trust, and really show them the best option. “We are conscious of the large expense of a roof,” explains Souza. “So we look at clients as if they were ourselves and treat them accordingly; we don’t want to destroy their bank accounts. In this industry, a lot of contractors leave things out, creating a lot of unexpected costs for the client down the road. We tell clients what they need to know, right off the bat. That makes us different–we’re looking to form a relationship with that client for the next 15 or 20 years.”

Formation of relationships is also reflected in PSI’s presence within the community, working with charities that serve the homeless, at-risk teenagers, and women in distress. “Not only do we provide financial support, but our team is engaged in the cause, as well,” says Souza. “We don’t just write a check.” With the volunteered help of PSI employees, PSI has put a roof on a property for His Caring Place, a group that helps pregnant teenagers, and has sponsored a 5K race for Taylor’s Closet, in which the staff also participates.

PSI has upgraded its virtual presence and looks to increase business by 10% to 15% in the near future. “Our clients, old and new, can navigate through our resources to see completed projects and become educated in the roofing process,” concludes Souza. “And when they do that, they’ll see that we bring more than just a roofing system–we bring value.”
