Rip Off Report Publishes New Exposé On Best Price Evaluations Controversy

In a new publication, Rip Off Report describes how two people have scammed 300,000 people using fake medical marijuana recommendations and pocketed over $4,000,000 in cash.

There are many dark sides to commerce, but one of the most damaging elements of the internet for many lies in its shades of grey. It can be almost impossible to tell legitimate businesses from fake ones, as the fakes have gotten very good at presenting themselves well online. Rip Off Report is a website aimed at exposing the fakes and helping people take action if they have been wronged by these companies. The site has just published a new report on Best Price Evaluations, accusing them of Medical Marijuana Doctor Fraud.

In their research, they have discovered that over 50% of the medical marijuana doctors’ offices that are opened in California are fraudulently run and need to be investigated. Best Price Evaluations is the first of these that the site has tackled head on.

The owners of this corporation are Gregory Hamilton and Inga Gefter. They own a fraudulent medical marijuana doctor’s office that prescribes fake marijuana recommendations to its patients. So far they have issued over 300,000 fake recommendations to patients and collected over $4,000,000 via these fraudulent methods. 

They hire physician assistants, when the law clearly states that the marijuana recommendations have to be issued by a licensed physician.  The law also states that it is illegal to employ doctors unless you are a doctor yourself. This creates an illegally owned corporation run by unqualified people who hire fake doctors.

Best Price Evaluations processes many of these requests through its website at bestpriceevaluations.com. If any patient who gets arrested with one of these fake recommendations, they will go to jail because it will not hold up in court.

A spokesperson for Rip Off Report explained, “There are people out there right now who don’t realise they have been scammed and are at risk of being imprisoned all because this company is hiding the way they do things. We want to shed light on this rip off and ensure the media knows the names of those involved, so we can begin to see justice being done.”

Bullion Dealer Raided by Police Sues Fort Lee and Its POLICE DEPARTMENT

A Bullion dealer by the name of Onn Rapeika is suing the police and THE TOWN OF Fort Lee after he was raided where he alleges $250,000 worth of watches and gold coins and $34,000 in cash went missing. Onn Rapeika, well respected in his community is shocked at the lies that are being told and wants the world to know the truth and demands that his belongings are returned.

An innocent Bullion Dealer AND LOCAL BUSINESS OWNER, who was wrongly raided by the police in Fort Lee, demands his name BE cleared and wants his watches, gold coins, and cash returned. Onn Rapeika, a Bullion Dealer who is respected in his community, had the traumatic experience of being raided by the police in January 2014. During the raid, he alleges the items went missing and demands is now suing both the town and police department.

In January of 2014 THE LAWSUIT STATES he was robbed by dirty cops and set up under false pretenses and fraudulent circumstances. HE recently sued the town, the police, and 31 officers who were involved according to the towns own tort investigation. The suit demands payment, compensation for legal bills and action taken against those officers who stolen them during the raid. The suite is primarily targeted against the 3 officers who first broke in: drumgoole, horton, and cullen followed by the police chief and another 27 or so officers yet to be revealed as part of an internal investigation conducted by the town but kept secret.

For the past two years Onn Rapeika has demanded the truth, but during those two years, he believes there has been a serious cover up, which is backed up by his supporters AND FBI FORENSICS. Onn Rapeika, 36 who has been a Bullion dealer for over ten years was shocked and angry when he was falsely arrested on charges of weapons possession, money laundering and drug offences. He has since launched a $8 million lawsuit against the borough, the Police Department and numerous individual police officials and officers.

According to Onn and his supporters “The police have made it their mission to blacken his name to avoid the embarrassment of the action they took.” Onn explained the last two years have been a complete nightmare.”

SEVERAL Onn supporters have STATED “the people have lost faith in the FORT LEE police DEPARTMENT” and HAVE URGED an outside body to come and investigate them, the actions they took, and the missing belongings. They have also called for senior officers to be dismissed for the cover-up and said they are disgusted THAT TIME AND AGAIN THE DEPARTMENT IS INVOLVED IN NEPTITUDE, COVERUPS, AND SCANDLES.

NEW YORK, New York – February 3, 2016 – Stage Caption, a new way to bring captioning to live theatrical productions, was recently announced. With this low-cost system, captioning and other accessibility features for live theatrical performances are displayed on personal handheld, electronic devices. It is an experimental captioning system using handheld devices, beginning with iPads and Android tablets, to display SDH (subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing) for scripted live performances. This will also have the potential to be used for translation, visual aid, and assisted listening. They’ll start with existing equipment and software to put their system together, Mac Mini computers, Qlab software, iOS and Android tablets, and other required audio, video, and control interfaces. 

Stage Caption is raising the bar on requirements for accessibility in the entertainment industry. While many cinemas and even some theatres have captioning systems, they need to become more widespread. Qlab is a widely used Mac software in the entertainment industry for sound effects and recorded music playback. It is also used for video and graphics. Many theatres already own much of the equipment needed to make the system work. The hope is that using a program that is already familiar and comfortable for theatrical technicians will help Stage Caption’s system be adopted more readily. Ebb and Flow – The Tides of Greece Launches on Kickstarter

Skopelos, Greece – On January 20, 2016, Jill Somer launched a Kickstarter Campaign for the Skopelos International Film Festival for Youth (SIFFY), a film festival for the children of Greece, in order to give them an additional educational opportunity in a time of deep crisis. 

This is the sixth year that the festival is in operation. Films have been screened in China, England, S. Korea, Spain and prominent festivals in the United States and have won several awards. Greek children have traveled to S. Korea, Spain and the United States to participate in the festivals. 

Each year the festival covers different topics pertaining to Greece. This year we will be covering the sea and how vital it has been to the economics of Skopelos. It is an important topic because currently so many Greeks have immigrated to other countries due to the crisis.

How it works is simple- Ten or more filmmakers are invited to work with approximately 60 children (6 – 8 children per filmmaker) for five days to create short films from start to finish. The films are then screened at the Orpheus Cinema in downtown Skopelos to an audience of about 600 people. Afterwards the films are sent to festivals throughout the world.

Jill Somer, an American who has lived in Skopelos for 15 years and was married to a Greek man who suddenly passed away less than two years ago, and has a nine year old child Zoe, is also the Associate Director of The Skopelos Foundation for the Arts www.skopartfoundation.org

The Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) and the Board of Directors feel very strongly that the Foundation does what it can to support the local community.

The more money the festival can raise, the more filmmakers they can invite which means more children can participate. In 2015, eighty children participated and they created 12 films. The budget was close to $10,000 which paid for the filmmakers travel from Athens to Skopelos, housing, food and a tour of the island.

The team plan to raise enough money to kit out a dedicated, secure LA facility to handcraft a new Starship Enterprise that will be 50% larger and 200% more beautiful than their original 8-foot model.

The new Enterprise will be 12 feet long and will be displayed in a spectacular spherical 3D state-of-the-art LED virtual reality environment with projection mapping designed by award-winning FX master Richard Winn Taylor so the ‘flying’ Enterprise will appear to be racing through time and space to dazzle her fans. The team will employ the illusory magic of one of Hollywood’s master magicians to complete the spectacle and to return the magnificent Enterprise where she belongs, into the arms and hearts of her ardent and adoring fans the world over. 

Every aspect of the ship will be designed and built exactly as in 1979, only employing the most modern techniques and materials to last well into the 24th century, and in the manner of everything Star Trek, the fans will be central to the experience.

The Project will take 18-20 months to complete, during which a documentary directed by Richard will catalog every step of the process. Towards the end of the build A-list actors and directors will drop by to see the Queen of the Galaxy up close and personal, adding their stardust to the proceedings.

Upon completion, Nichelle Nichols will unveil the Starship Enterprise at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

LONDON, UK – Do we really need to throw away our favourite sets of pens once they run out? Can there not be a way to make a set of pens useful and playful even when not used for colouring or writing? These are the questions the design team answered with the concept of Magnetips. The idea behind this innovative product came from a love of colouring, good design, and the desire to de-clutter the work space.  

Product designer, Noam Bar Yohai has teamed up with graphic artist and illustrator Jo Hill, to design this magnetic fine liner set. The idea was not only to design high grade refillable colouring pens for their artistic pursuits, but also be able to keep them in one confined spot, reduce clutter on the work top, and minimise waste. These pens are and refillable and are purposefully designed to last.

Each of the fine liners has 2 Neodymium magnets fixed in their shell, making them attract one another and to most metal objects, allowing nearly unlimited options for how the pens can be stored or presented. The pens contain high quality, fine line refill and can be used for colouring, design sketching, or just writing beautiful prose. The basic set includes 20 pens in a palette carefully curated by the team.

The Kickstarter campaign is using the “pre-order” rewards model, enabling backers to support the project and help raise funds for the first production batch. Two editions will be produced primarily – black or colour shelled pens, with an early bird price of as low as $29 per set. Additional refill sets are also offered as an Add-on to the main pledge.

“Colony 42 is a First-Person Horror Survival Game designed to work on a psychological level and traditional horror level. 85% of Crowdfunding Goal Raised in Just 48 Hours for Monster Documentary

Wadsworth, OH – A Kickstarter to fund the production of a new type of monster film, titled “Boggy Creek Monster” is underway. The Kickstarter campaign had reached a third of its funding goal in just 12 hours and 60% in just 24 off with support from nearly 70 backers. Reactions to the announcement of the film have been wildly supportive.

The documentary will focus on the 1971 horror classic, Legend of Boggy Creek, and the true stories that inspired it, and will be filmed in Fouke, Arkansas in partnership with author and television personality, Lyle Blackburn. The titular monster became the subject of nationwide interest after a rash of sightings of a hair-covered beast rocked the tiny town of Fouke in the late 60s and early 70s.

A Kickstarter campaign is a form of crowdfunding in which people are welcomed to purchase various “rewards” with the monetary amount given going toward the production of the film. In this case the rewards include apparel, a one-of-a-kind poster (designed by artist Sam Shearon) featuring the Boggy Creek Monster himself, a Kickstarter exclusive hoodie (based on Shearon’s design) and a chance to see the second film in the Small Town Monsters’ series, Beast of Whitehall, a full month before its official release on April 1st.

The Small Town Monsters’ films are unique in that they are independently funded and produced. Director, Seth Breedlove, a 34 year old investigative journalist, has been honing his craft as a documentarian since his first film; Minerva Monster debuted to much acclaim. His partner on the Small Town Monsters’ series, Brandon Dalo (26) also acts as the composer of the scores used in the movies.
